From Carmeta about the camp: The activities I do for the children are learning through play. So that they learn while having fun, which is the best way to learn in my opinion. By playing they learn about themselves, how they think and how their mind works, also about their emotions and feelings and how they feel them in their body because every emotion generates a reaction, they become aware of their personal power and thus feel self-esteem, how important it is to take care of themselves and their body (for example we eat healthy food together and explaining where food comes from). And I do all of this by playing in a safe environment in nature and with the help of arts and crafts, songs, rhymes, breathing, mindfulness, and so on. In this way each child expresses himself/herself in his/her own way, by painting, drawing, singing, saying, writing, dancing and through play and handicrafts I show them what we have discussed. We also do like a treasure hunt so they can practice their atention to detail, which they love. It comes with questions for them to find out how they feel and what they think, learning to discern, choose and know themselves, learning to go within, learning to look inside.
