San Pedro Alcántara Carnival – Program Overview

Thursday, February 12

• 10:00 – Children’s chirigota (carnival choir) contest at the Adolfo Suárez Congress and Exhibition Palace in Marbella, with participation from local schools.

• A special seating area will be available for parents and families.

Friday, February 13

• 11:00 – Children’s carnival parade through the main streets of San Pedro Alcántara, ending with a kids’ entertainment show.

• 17:00 – Children’s carnival party at the San Pedro Boulevard, featuring:

  • Kids’ costume contest

  • Entertainment show

  • Dance performance

  • Inflatables, mechanical bull, trampolines, and more

  • Food and drink stand at family-friendly prices

Saturday, February 14

• 17:00 – Carnival humor parade through the town streets.

  • Costume contest for adults (individuals, couples, and groups).

  • Registration opens one hour before the parade.

• Carnival entertainment show and prize ceremony at Plaza de la Iglesia.

Sunday, February 15 – “San Pedro Carnavaleando”
A day full of music, humor, and carnival tradition at the Boulevard stage.

• 13:00 – Performances by local carnival groups.

• 16:00 – Shows by well-known carnival groups from Cádiz.

• Food and drink stand available throughout the event.

February 18 & 19

• 21:00 – Semifinals of the 29th Carnival Groups Competition at the Marbella City Theatre.

• Free invitation tickets available online and at the theatre box office.

Friday, February 20

• 21:00 – Final of the 29th Carnival Groups Competition at the Marbella City Theatre.

• Tickets: €5 (proceeds go to a local charity).

• Also broadcast on RTV Marbella (TV and YouTube).
