Torremolinos is getting ready for one of the most cheerful events of the year. From 27 February to 1 March 2026, the town will come alive with costumes, music, parades, and traditional carnival celebrations for the whole family.

🎤 Carnival Opening (Pregón)

The festivities begin with the official opening speech, followed by live performances from carnival groups, comparsas, and humorous murgas.

The carnival ends with the traditional “Burning of the Sardine,” a symbolic farewell celebration by the sea, with music and entertainment in Plaza del Remo.
