Overview
Tolox Carnival is one of the village’s most loved celebrations — a joyful, multi-day festival full of music, costumes, parades and strong local traditions.
Over several days, Tolox comes alive with carnival dances, children’s and adult costume contests, live murgas and comparsas, and events for all ages, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere throughout the town.
The Carnival reaches its peak with Día de los Polvos, Tolox’s most iconic tradition and the grand finale. On this day, the streets fill with laughter and clouds of talcum powder, transforming the village into a playful, unforgettable celebration of community and heritage.
