Overview

Robotics & Science Classes

These classes combine hands-on robotics with the exploration of basic science and math concepts. Children build various types of robots to better understand key ideas such as power, electricity, speed, angles, and center of gravity. Programming is introduced through the use of function cards, helping children develop early computational thinking in a playful and accessible way.

Throughout the sessions, children strengthen their fine motor skills and begin to engage with digital tools, laying the foundation for essential ICT (Information and Communication Technology) skills.

Recommended age:
5–8 years old.

Materials and tools:
The course uses the GOMA BRAIN kit (by MRT), which includes building parts, sensors, motors, and a programmable central unit. Activities also incorporate creative crafts, and completed projects are taken home.
Basic use of PCs is also included to support digital competence and introduce children to computer-based thinking in a guided, age-appropriate setting.
