β¨ Casares Costa will once again be the first stop of the Three Wise Men.
β¨ The traditional tin-can drag (arrastre de latas) in Secadero is another of the highlights of January 5 in the municipality of Casares.
Casares is preparing to experience one of the most magical days of the year with the arrival of Their Majesties the Three Wise Men from the East, who will visit the municipality this Monday, January 5
Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthazar will travel through Casares Costa, Casares Pueblo, and Secadero in three parades filled with music, colour, and fantasy πΆπ . The processions will feature floats, marching bands, and children’s characters, handing out sweets, gifts, and smiles to both young and old π¬π
The first visit will take place in Casares Costa, which will once again be the first town in the entire region to welcome the Three Wise Men. From 12:00 p.m. onwards, Their Majesties will parade through the streets amid a great shower of confetti, sweets, and gifts πβ¨
In the afternoon, from 6:00 p.m., the parade will fill the streets of the historic centre of Casares with magic and excitement, turning every corner into a stage of music and wonder πΆπ. As in Costa, the Three Wise Men will hold a special reception after the parade, where all boys and girls will be able to greet them in person and receive a very special gift πβ€οΈ
In Secadero, the celebration includes one of the most endearing and eagerly awaited events: the traditional arrastre de latas, which will take place at 11:30 a.m. ππ₯«. Children and adults alike will walk through the streets making noise so the Three Wise Men do not forget to visit the town. The creativity of the arrastres stands out, made from recycled cans shaped into cars, animals, spaceships, and all kinds of original creations ππΎπ. This year, the event will also feature a very special surprise: a snowfall of bubbles
The Three Wise Men will arrive in Secadero at 6:00 p.m., with a parade that will fill the town with fun and fantasy π β¨. At the end of the route, Their Majesties will receive the youngest children in Plaza de la Paz, bringing an unforgettable day to a perfect close π«π
